Dura Municipality crews are carrying out road widening and rehabilitation works in Al-Sharafa neighborhood as part of ongoing field follow-ups for the project to rehabilitate and pave the road connecting the Kanar neighborhood, Dura Courthouse, Al-Sharafa, and Al-Far'a, extending to the Krisa–Western Well intersection. The project is scheduled to be implemented with funding from the Municipal Development and Lending Fund and Dura Municipality.

The works include removing permanent and temporary encroachments and obstacles that impede residents’ movement, eliminating wastewater collection pits, constructing retaining walls, and building pedestrian sidewalks. These measures will contribute to widening the road, improving traffic safety, and facilitating residents’ movement. The project will include two traffic lanes, a central median, and sidewalks.
