Cultural Center
The Dura Martyrs Cultural Center was established in 1998 as a cultural and community beacon in Dura, home to the literary and artistic activities of many of the city's institutions. The center spreads culture and knowledge through guidance, education, media and recreation: it holds seminars, organizes exhibitions, meetings and specialized courses, forms folk art troupes, revives heritage, and hosts events of public interest.
The center has a large hall that holds hundreds of people and is used for conferences, lectures, competitions and seminars, as well as an equipped computer lab where many specialized courses are held for the local community.
Since its founding, the center has been a platform for cultural, national and heritage activities and a welcoming space for creativity, making it a mainstay of the city's cultural life and a destination for many institutions and community groups.
