
Dura Municipality Participates in Launch of “Gateway to Dreams” Summer Youth Camp
Dura Mayor Mr. Muhannad Amr participated on Wednesday in the launch of the activities of the specialized 2026 summer youth camp, “Gateway to Dreams,” organized by the Directorate of Education in Southern Hebron as part of the “Youth for Palestine” program. The camp targets students from Martyr Majed Abu Sharara Boys’ Secondary School and is being held in the halls and courtyards of Al-Razi Boys’ School in Dura.
The camp was launched in the presence of Hebron Governor Mr. Khaled Dudin, Director General of Education in Southern Hebron Dr. Yasser Mohammad, as well as representatives of official, security, and community institutions and the partners involved in implementing the camp.
The three-day camp offers a specialized program focusing on national, cultural, and intellectual themes, contributing to developing students’ personalities and strengthening their national awareness and sense of belonging.
The Mayor of Dura praised the camp and its programs for students, commending the efforts of all institutions and partners involved. He reaffirmed the municipality’s support for initiatives and programs aimed at empowering students and youth, developing their personalities, and enhancing their national and cultural awareness.
