Dura Mayor Mr. Muhannad Amr received, at the municipality headquarters, Mr. Yazan Abu Aisha, Southern Region Manager at Palestine Telecommunications Company (Paltel), along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the municipality and the company in ways that serve the city of Dura and its residents.

The meeting discussed the possibility of implementing and supporting a number of joint projects and initiatives, particularly in the community, development, and technology sectors. Discussions also covered improving services, upgrading infrastructure, and exploring opportunities for joint cooperation and work in several priority areas for the city.

Mr. Muhannad Amr emphasized the importance of building an effective partnership with Paltel and enhancing the private sector’s role in supporting local development. He noted the municipality’s commitment to expanding its network of partnerships with national institutions and companies, particularly initiatives targeting youth, education, cultural, sports, and community activities, which contribute to strengthening community engagement and serving various segments of the city’s population.

For his part, Mr. Yazan Abu Aisha affirmed Paltel’s commitment to maintaining its presence and community role in Dura and supporting activities and initiatives that address the needs of the local community. He also highlighted the company’s interest in developing sustainable partnerships with the municipality and local institutions, strengthening its social responsibility and contributing to a positive and lasting impact on the city.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain communication and coordination and to work on developing a range of community initiatives, activities, and joint projects that strengthen the partnership between Dura Municipality and Paltel and benefit the city and its residents.
