Description of the Information Technology Department:

This department works to develop the work environment in the municipality in terms of creating a programming and electronic environment, data correspondence, communications, and any modern technology that serves the interest of work.

The department also provides services for developing and maintaining effective systems in the municipality and using the necessary applications to facilitate work, reduce the margin of errors, increase reliability in data and its preservation, increase the level of security, and enable participatory and collective work through linking with other systems for the purpose of higher flexibility in performance and ease of implementation and provision of services in the municipality. 1-Software and Systems Department

  • Follow up on software implementation with relevant companies.
  • Developing the software needed by the municipality according to capabilities.
  • Consolidating the use of information security policies to control access to information and data in the municipality.

2-maintenance and Technical Support Department

This department works to carry out periodic and remedial maintenance of the municipality’s computer equipment, and manage the computer network.

  • Implementing remedial maintenance work on municipal computers.
  • Implementing the installation and installation of software on computers according to the needs of users.

    This department works to develop and follow up on electronic services for citizens in the city by providing a set of electronic systems used to communicate with the municipality from anywhere and at any time, which makes it easier for them to provide and follow up on services. 4- Department of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

This department works to follow up and update the geographic information systems (GIS) in the municipality and provide accurate descriptive and spatial data to the citizens of the city of Dura and employees in the various municipal departments through modern GIS services and easy-to-use interactive digital tools for research and inquiries.
