The best and most effective way to communicate with the community is direct participation with the community or the public. This is done through organizing and managing many activities and events that aim to enhance communication and build relationships with the public and the community, whether inside or outside the institution.
1-Organizing public events: The department organizes and coordinates public events such as conferences, seminars, exhibitions, press conferences, and private parties. These events aim to attract media and public interest and increase awareness of the Foundation’s activities and initiatives.
2-Communication with the media: The department must deal with the media and provide important information and data to journalists and the media. This includes writing press releases and conducting interviews with the media.
3-Public Relations Department: The department works to build and strengthen relationships with external parties such as non-governmental organizations, companies, and the local community. This could include organizing meetings and conferences with these parties.
4-Social Media Management: The department can also be responsible for managing the organization’s social media accounts. This involves posting engaging content and engaging with followers across platforms
5-Providing support for social initiatives: The department can support and implement social initiatives aimed at serving the local community. These initiatives can include awareness campaigns, community development activities, and fundraising campaigns.
6-Preparing reports and evaluation: The department must prepare periodic evaluation reports to measure the success of activities and events and measure the extent of their impact on the desired goal.
Department of International Relations
We firmly believe that by building strategic relationships with charitable organizations, we can impact positive change, create lasting impact, and contribute directly to the betterment of our community. The municipality’s local and international partnership in initiating and supporting projects that promote education, skills training, health care, or empowerment programs for youth, women, the elderly, the disabled, and the marginalized in our city, as the municipality is a member of EUROMED and UCLG, and has a number of international partnerships and cooperations, the most prominent of which is the municipality of Dortmund. The Media and Promotion
Department in the Municipality of Dura is the only official source of
information that the citizen needs from the municipality. The media also
contributes to strengthening and developing the relationship with the various
segments of society in the city of Dura and consolidating it by creating a
state of harmony and continuous communication between the internal municipality
community and the external public, and strengthening the relationship with the
media. And building media relationships and partnerships, as Dura contains many
radio stations and media activists.
Tasks of the Media
Department
The department’s tasks are divided into the
traditional jobs provided by the media on a daily basis, which serve the
municipality’s presence at the media level, as well as the creative jobs and
tasks that represent the distinguished and specialized role of the media
department in contributing to creative initiatives in the city.
Traditional jobs include:
1-News and promotional
coverage of meetings of municipal representatives with external parties, and of
activities, events and visits held by the municipality.
2-A media message to
introduce the municipality, its activities, and its role in serving the local
community and its various segments.
3-Marketing the city, as
Dura is characterized by a strong tourist and historical character due to the
presence of many public and private parks and gardens and the presence of many
ancient and attractive historical places.
4-Marketing the city of
Dura as an attractive city for investors because of its location that connects
southern Hebron to its northern part.
5-Achieving a distinctive
presence for the municipality in all visual, audio and print media.
6-Managing the media
section on the municipality’s website.

Department in the Public Relations Department is characterized by its unusual
creative tasks created by the daily work team, as there are countless ideas
that would enhance the municipality’s role in extracurricular initiatives to
raise its trust among citizens and other institutions.
Some ideas can be given, including
but not limited to (making reports on individual municipal departments,
choosing distinctive locations in the city and highlighting them in different
ways, snapshots of markets and citizens and their daily work, writing a morning
message to citizens).
