Dura Municipality Carries Out Landscaping and Maintenance Works Under Employment Program
Dura Municipality is carrying out a number of landscaping, maintenance, and general public works at various public facilities and along several streets through municipal teams and personnel employed under the “Recovery and Temporary Job Creation – Labor-Intensive Infrastructure – Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Internal Roads in Dura” program, funded by the Municipal Development and Lending Fund.
The works include landscaping and maintenance of public facilities, traffic sign maintenance, as well as various maintenance and rehabilitation activities at different locations. These efforts contribute to improving the city’s overall appearance, preserving its facilities and streets, and enhancing their readiness.
The implementation of the program is part of the municipality’s efforts to provide temporary employment opportunities and reduce unemployment, particularly amid the difficult economic conditions facing the Palestinian people. Dura Municipality considers employment and economic empowerment a priority by benefiting from programs and projects that help create jobs and support targeted groups.
The municipality reaffirmed its commitment to making use of various available programs, projects, and activities to provide direct benefits to citizens, unemployed individuals, small business owners, and low-income groups, while supporting local development efforts and enhancing the quality of services provided across the city.
