Consultative Coordination Meeting for Local Government Heads in Hebron Governorate

Halhul Municipality hosted a consultative and coordination meeting for the heads and representatives of local government bodies in Hebron Governorate, attended by Hebron Governor Mr. Khaled Doudin, Director General of Local Government Eng. Ezz Al-Din Al-Atawneh, and a number of heads and representatives of local government bodies.

The meeting discussed strengthening cooperation and coordination and unifying efforts in a manner that serves the interests of local government bodies and citizens. Participants also reached an agreement on the governorate’s representatives to the Palestinian Federation of Local Government Bodies for the 2026–2030 term.

Participants praised the outstanding efforts made by Halhul Mayor Mr. Wajdi Malhem and members of the municipal council in preparing for, organizing, and hosting the meeting, as well as their welcoming reception and constructive management of the dialogue. These efforts contributed to the success of the meeting and to reaching consensus-based outcomes that strengthen coordination and joint action among local government bodies across the governorate.
