Dura Municipality and the Southern Hebron Directorate of Labor Enhance Citizens’ Access to Employment and Financing Programs

As part of its efforts to enhance employment opportunities and promote economic empowerment, Dura Municipality hosted an informational workshop on Thursday in cooperation with the Southern Hebron Directorate of Labor (Dura), with the aim of introducing citizens to available programs and projects in the fields of employment, financing, business support, and entrepreneurship.

The workshop was attended by Municipal Council Member Yousef Al-Darawish, Director of the Southern Hebron Directorate of Labor (Dura) Wael Al-Namoura, Director of the Cooperative Work Authority in Hebron Governorate Mohammad Rawashdeh, Director of the Dura Vocational Training Center Alaa Rajoub, and Taleb Al-Haroub, Director of Medical Services.

The workshop covered a number of programs and opportunities targeting workers, job seekers, and entrepreneurs, in addition to programs aimed at supporting and empowering women. Participants were also provided with information on the registration procedures and how to benefit from these programs.

The Ministry of Labor, represented by the Southern Hebron Directorate of Labor, commended Dura Municipality’s efforts in organizing and coordinating the workshop, emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation and coordination in ensuring that citizens have access to information about available opportunities and programs.
