Weekly Livestock Market Opens in Dura
The weekly livestock market in Dura officially opened today, Monday, in the Wadi Abu Al-Qamra area, with active participation from livestock breeders and traders. The opening day marked the launch of the market, organized by Dura Municipality in cooperation with the market committee, which includes sheep traders and breeders. The initiative aims to provide a specialized and organized space for buying and selling livestock while supporting local economic activity.
Dura Municipality is renewing its invitation to livestock and sheep breeders and traders, as well as traders and distributors of animal feed, food, equipment, and related supplies, to participate in the market. This is intended to enhance the integration of services and broaden the benefits available to market participants.
The municipality emphasized that the market is open to everyone free of charge and is held every Monday. Work will continue to develop the market and improve its services to better meet the needs of participants.
The municipality also welcomes any feedback or suggestions from breeders, traders, and residents that could contribute to developing the market and enhancing its success and sustainability.
